I am a visual artist based out of Sheffield, UK. I discovered my interest in photography at an early age when my father handed me over his first camera, a Yashica TLR. Looking at a mirror image of the world through the viewfinder, left me awestruck and mesmerized as I felt connected and disconnected from reality at once.
After completing a Masters in Photography & Design program from Elisava (Barcelona, Spain) in 2015, I have been exploring the psychological influences of photography in our daily lives.
I have worked at the National College of Arts (Lahore, Pakistan) as an Associate Professor where I taught visual arts. Being formally trained in the field of Photography and Design, I have also worked as the Head of Production (content and photography) for Daraz.pk, (Owned by Aliexpress.com), where I developed and implemented the fashion and general merchandise content guidelines for Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Having expertise in the fashion, product, landscape and property photography, my interest remains in portraiture, surrealism, documentary and fine art photography.
